The deaf community loves Starbucks. But they have difficulty using the drive-thru window. Liz Tannebaum, an actress and devoted mother, has been deaf since birth. She is one of 28 million deaf and hard of hearing Americans who do not have access to some of the most basic, daily services. Together with Patrick Hughes, she is working to make drive-thrus accessible to everyone. Patrick and his company Inclusion Solutions have created a low-technology, easy-to-use solution to accomplish this goal. Starbucks is setting the industry standard for customer service, and they believe "if Starbucks does it, everyone will do it."
With respect for the deaf community, all versions of this film will appear with captions.
