This high-resolution video features clips of a 300-foot hole being drilled and PVC pipe being inserted as part of initial testing for a geothermal heat pump demonstration project at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, including shots of adding drill segments, the operator controlling the rotary drill rig, installing PVC pipe, and drilling.
