I never in a million years would have thought I would be in El Salvador. I didn't even really know there were waves here until I hung out with a friend of a friend at a bar in Cabarete. He showed me photos of the waves and I about crapped myself. After an hour show and tell, I told my new Salvadorian friend I would be seeing him soon. Two months later and here we are in El Tunco! The first day we got here the waves at Sunzal were triple over head. We just thought that how it goes around here, so we jumped right in and got to surfing.
